I’m going on holiday tomorrow for a few days and I’m going to meet friends and relatives I haven’t seen for many months now. I’m sure I’ll be awash with loads of words telling almost nothing I’m afraid. On the one hand, I’m glad to meet those people, but on the other hand, I’m disappointed because I can’t express exactly what I feel in the bottom of my heart and they don’t tell me what they feel. Trivial chats on what the weather Is like are usually the easiest solution. I know that the only thing I can do is to try to transform my mind and change my perspective to reach out the others’ hearts. I do hope that the more I’m prepared to listen to people, the more they will be prepared to listen to me. This is one of the reasons why I decided to get involved in the peace-path groups. Life is all twists and turns but we can enjoy the journey. Happy travelling! Only one thing. IMHO not ".. expert in anything" but "expert of what I believe and why". As Christians we have a huge responsibility for witnessing what in the Gospel it’s meant by “meta-noia”. Trying to change our life is both challenging and frightening, but “the time is fulfilled”, it’s just sink or swim for all of us. Anyway, knowing that “if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the upright” (1 Jn 2,1) Is comforting. We know we can always rely on him. A new time is coming on, not a New Age, but a time filled with peace and love as the only path to the progress.
